Whether it’s because of where I live or how involved I am with my kids, my ability to have a social network, especially among my peers, has been restricted greatly over the years. And Rise has been an outlet for me for that. And I want it very much. It is something that I believe continues to help me because sharp makes other things sharp. I need that ability to have that push back. I need that ability to have, the impetus or the reason for my brain to start percolating and think, and get outside of my everyday routine. Because if all I do is my day in and day out routine, then I’m never going to be able to grow. And I want growth. Not only just personally but also professionally. Meeting new people, getting better at being what I am for a job, this has also helped me be a better mom, a better wife, a better friend. And that is one of the things I treasure and I’m willing to pay for.

When I was in the hospital with a sudden and devastating diagnosis, I was terrified, and my life felt shattered. The members took time from the call for everyone to record a personal message to me and they sent me the audio clip while I sat in the hospital. I physically felt the love and I felt the support and it was exactly what I needed at that moment of uncertainty in my life.

And they have been with me every step of my journey since. When I shared video of my progress as I fought hard to get my life back, so many have cheered me on telling me what an inspiration I am to them. Me? It’s just amazing to be surrounded by a group of women that truly cheer my success. It’s just incredible. That’s what Rise is to me.

I am always amazed by the insights, experience and practicality of comments from our members. I believe what I get from Rise is far richer than other groups I have attended. You are creating something amazing for the industry and women in general.

The ONE thing I know I need before getting to my ONE thing is the right community of people surrounding me, and that is why I LOVE this group!
