A Community of Women
At our heart, we are a community. A place where you can talk openly with other women that understand and support you, are willing to share, and are invested in your growth and success. A place where you can learn and test new ideas, and get feedback without judgement but most importantly here for you when life gets in the way.
We recognize that finding the time for in-person meetings have caused many women’s organizations to struggle. But for many of us, that left a void in our desire to connect and learn from other brilliant and supportive women. Rise seeks to fill that void by providing an ongoing forum for women to connect, share and learn from each other in a supportive and growth-oriented environment.
Turning Knowledge into Action
If you’ve ever left a training session, read a book or heard a podcast and were so fired up but wanted more — we get you. We all have a ton of knowledge, training and information we’ve gained over the years that now sits gathering dust on a shelf. RiseNOW’s mission is to change that. Our focus is on turning knowledge into action. We not only focus on grasping the main ideas of any given topic, but really dive into:
Live Calls
We meet twice a month for live calls. Calls are led by individual members, professional coaches, and guest speakers with deep discussion based on leading books, podcasts, articles, training and more. Our members and coaches bring concepts to our community to explore how we can integrate them into our lives in ways that cultivate ACTUAL change.
Connect the Dots
Each quarter we focus on a series of topics then pause to review and ‘Connect The Dots’ of each concept with a focus on helping you APPLY and INTEGRATE them into your everyday life. We review how each topic has impacted our lives, where we got stuck, and allow us to ask for feedback and help. Check out a snippet of one of our Connect the Dots calls HERE.
Lead by Example
We feel strongly that the deepest and most meaningful learning comes from TEACHING others. For this reason, we encourage our members to lead calls on topics they want to apply in their own lives or business. By becoming accountable for the learning of others, we are inherently driven to understand a topic better ourselves and therefore more apt to apply it in our own lives. Win, win!

WhyTough Love?
You know what strikes me the most about that, the tough love part. You have to know yourself and be willing to grow within yourself to be able to accept and hear that tough love. Yes. I love it.
– Deb Deckman
You also have to be willing to take risks to give tough love. Because there is an element of danger in it. You know, there is an element of ‘If I'm truly your friend, I'm going to put our friendship at risk. And I'm going to tell you what you truly need to hear, not what you want to hear. Not what can help make you feel better for a moment, but what can help make you be better for 100 years. That is the impact I need, and I want to give. Rise is a safe enough place to be able to do it.
I love the fact that there are times when we've looked to truly challenge each other. And then there's times where we look to be the support for each other. And we thankfully know well enough to know how to judge that. But we also understand that when, in all reality, f*** it up, we give each other grace to fix it. Because that's where you know that tough love comes from both directions. Because if you're not willing to give tough love, then you only love me on a superficial level. And if you're not ready to risk yourself, you're not in it.
